Responsibilities
* Developing Kainos as a business – build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities using a combination of new and existing accounts, forecast accurately across future quarters to achieve sales targets and maintain predictability of future revenue.
* Putting deals together – ensure deals meet sales, revenue and profitability objectives and align with Kainos’ strategy and goals.
* Being a trusted advisor for our customers – employ a consultative selling approach, understand customer challenges and opportunities with empathy, active listening, responsiveness and creativity.
* Developing and strengthening partnerships – build and strengthen strategic partnerships to position Kainos as a go-to partner that continually adds value.
* Negotiating and managing senior stakeholders – strong negotiation and senior stakeholder management, with experience presenting and refining proposals to achieve outcomes for Kainos.
* Being an external Kainos ambassador – promote the culture, values and behaviours that make Kainos unique.
* Working as part of a team – lead complex B2B enterprise deals with a wider multi-disciplinary team to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
* Travel requirement – be willing to travel approximately 50% of the working week to prospects and customers.
* Location – London-based or easily commutable.
What We Are Looking For
* Strong Workday domain knowledge
* Excellent track record of delivering against targets (quarterly and annually)
* Experience selling large and complex deployments to mid-market and large enterprise clients
* Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
* Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to deliver a business value-based proposal in a competitive environment
* Excellent networking skills and ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
* Broad technology experience and awareness of technology trends and their impact on projects
* Understanding of digital services concepts and ability to articulate product/service distinctions against competitors
* Ability to operate in a competitive and pressurised environment while upholding Kainos standards
* Good planning and deadline management aligned with business requirements
* Strong negotiation skills from commercial and contract perspectives
* Demonstrated ability in mentoring and coaching team members and the wider community
Nice To Have
* Knowledge of IT business development process and contracts with demonstrable experience of winning contracts
* Appreciation and knowledge of technology delivery, agile methodologies, etc.
