What You Will Do
* Assist with product development by liaising with suppliers and the purchasing department to ensure components meet required specifications.
* Collaborate with the Head Design Engineer to update drawings and communicate changes to the production team.
* Take ownership of design work for new products, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
* Update technical records and provide production teams with necessary drawings and guidance.
* Support customers with technical enquiries and assist with warranty claims.
* Visit customer sites to oversee the initial setup of complex machines and ensure they are functioning optimally.
What You Will Bring
* A solid understanding of design processes and procedures.
* Experience using computer-aided design software.
* Strong communication skills to build rapport with internal departments and external suppliers.
* The ability to articulate complex design issues clearly.
* Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault is desirable but not essential.
