Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant at IBM Consulting UK FutureNow, you will work in an IBM Consulting Client Innovation Center, contributing to all phases of the consulting lifecycle with a customer‑facing focus. Your responsibilities include requirement analysis, business process documentation, solution design, configuration, deployment, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.
* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering continuous learning.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define system architecture and ensure seamless integration with existing enterprise systems.
* Stay current with emerging Oracle EPM Cloud trends, tools, and best practices.
* Contribute to the development of Oracle EPM Cloud strategies and roadmaps.
* Support proposal development and contribute to pre‑sales activities, including proof of concepts and sandbox environment configuration.

Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Up to 10 years of functional experience delivering Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
* Experience across multiple full Oracle Cloud implementation cycles.
* Proven experience in solution design, requirements analysis, functional design configuration, documentation, troubleshooting, and integration architecture.
* Experience working with technical teams for interface design, development and testing.
* Ability to multi‑task and work independently.
* Strong client‑facing communication and client management skills.
* Good understanding of application implementation methodologies.
* Demonstrated functional skills in at least two of the following areas: Planning and Budgeting Cloud (Workforce Planning, Capex, Project and Finance Budgeting), Financial Consolidation and Close, Narrative Reporting.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
* Oracle Cloud Implementation Certification(s).
* Good domain knowledge of Enterprise Data Management (EDM CS).
* Experience in Oracle Cloud implementations and integration with on‑premise or cloud applications.
* Knowledge of broader Oracle Cloud functional areas (Finance, HCM, Payroll, SCM, CX, Logistics).
* Knowledge of reporting and analytical tools within Oracle Cloud.
* Experience in pre‑sales activities such as contributing to proposals, conducting proofs of concept, and configuring sandbox environments for functional demonstrations.
Pre‑employment Screening
This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional personal security controls, such as National Security Vetting (NVS), may apply, potentially including eligibility for the Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
