About the role:
Seeking an Engineering Lecturer in Welding & Fabrication to join our Engineering department at The Bedford College Group.
Responsibilities include:
* Teaching and assessing Engineering courses, aligned with college policies.
* Delivering practical, workshop, and classroom-based training using diverse techniques.
* Planning and developing teaching materials and programmes.
* Acting as course tutor and monitoring student progress.
* Participating in assessment and quality assurance activities.
* Creating a stimulating learning environment and ensuring compliance with policies.
About you:
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
* English and mathematics GCSE grade A-C or equivalent, or willingness to achieve Level 2 within a year.
* Experience in teaching, assessing, or tutoring Engineering.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct.
