After School Club Manager Reports To Registered Manager / Operations Manager / Director Location [ROMFORD ESSEX] Hours: To be agreed [Insert Hours – e.g., Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–6:30pm during term time] Salary £16.00 – £20.00 (Negotiable) Purpose of the Role The After School Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, organisation, and delivery of a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and enjoyable after-school provision for children and young people. The postholder will lead staff, ensure compliance with safeguarding and health and safety requirements, maintain high standards of care, and create engaging activities that support children's development, wellbeing, and independence. Desirable -Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Youth Work, Education, Health & Social Care, or equivalent. -Paediatric First Aid qualification. -Designated Safeguarding Lead training. -Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). -Experience managing an after-school club or similar childcare setting.
