We are looking for hands-on, motivated IT Configuration Engineers to join our busy client in Hatfield. This is a physical, team-focused role ideal for individuals with a passion for IT hardware, attention to detail, and the drive to meet customer expectations.
Working within the configuration department, you'll be applying software images to a wide range of devices using detailed, pre-defined build scripts.
Shift Pattern: Varying shifts between 7:00am – Midnight
Typical shift times include:
* 7:00am – 3:00pm
* 8:00am – 4:00pm
* 4:00pm – Midnight
(Occasional 12-hour shifts and weekend overtime may be required)
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow detailed build scripts to configure customer hardware
* Apply operating system images and software packages to devices
* Log and report any build issues (incident management)
* Meet specific build targets for customer orders
* Unpack and repack devices as part of the configuration process
* Maintain a clean and efficient workspace
* Work collaboratively with your team to hit daily output goals
