We are recruiting for a Fleet & Procurement Manager to join a growing infrastructure business on a fixed-term basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the effective management of fleet operations and procurement activities, driving efficiency, compliance, and value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
* Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the company fleet, including compliance, telematics, and incident support
* Ensure all vehicles meet legal, safety, and operational standards
* Manage servicing, maintenance, and fleet performance
* Monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Procurement & Contracts
* Procure goods and services in line with business needs and budget requirements
* Manage supplier relationships and contracts, ensuring performance and value
* Lead negotiations to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies
* Support contract management across key business areas
Operations & Leadership
* Plan workloads effectively, prioritising tasks in a fast‑paced environment
* Use data and reporting to inform decisions and improve performance
* Manage, support, and motivate a team to deliver high standards
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience procuring goods and services and managing contracts
* Strong ability to plan workloads, prioritise effectively, and use data to drive decisions
* Experience managing fleet operations, including compliance, telematics, and incident support
* Demonstrated experience managing, supporting, and motivating a team
* Strong background in large‑scale construction, civils, or infrastructure projects
* Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
