Job Title: Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner / Wellbeing Practitioner (Band 5)
Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools are seeking qualified professionals to join our teams in Weymouth, Portland, West Dorset, Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible working arrangements.
You will work with passionate professionals providing support and therapeutic interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs within educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Low Intensity CBT interventions to support mental wellbeing.
2. Manage a caseload, delivering evidence-based, short-term interventions to children, families, and young people.
3. Assist in implementing the whole school approach, liaising with schools, families, local authorities, and organizations.
Travel to different education settings within the area is required; a car and driving license are essential.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Completed an accredited training course with a recognized university.
* Recognized professional registration as an EMHP.
* CWP applicants with relevant experience may also apply.
