The vacancy
Located in the vibrant city of Hull, we are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a full-time position and working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. If you have strong organisational skills, a welcoming attitude, and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate person.
* Dealing with routine and difficult enquiries from telephone callers and visitors effectively, efficiently and professionally.
* Conveying messages clearly, quickly and accurately.
* Signing in arrivals and obtaining signatures for all goods collected on the appropriate form.
* Checking deliveries and sign paperwork.
* Booking meeting rooms and informing staff of availability.
* Ensuring reception area is kept presentable at all times.
* Photocopying, printing and/or scanning all documents and bundles of documents as requested, using appropriate machine.
* Ensuring all meeting rooms are cleared and left tidy after meetings/events.
* Providing general administrative support and housekeeping duties to the office as needed.
Set up and configure meeting rooms to suit various requirements, including layout adjustments and arranging refreshments as needed.
