Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) | Chesterfield (S41) | £110-£130 per day | Full Time | Start Date: 23/1/26 The Opportunity A well-established, nurturing Alternative Provision in Chesterfield is seeking compassionate and resilient Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. We support young people who have been permanently excluded from mainstream secondary education, many with SEMH or additional behaviour needs. What We're Looking For: HLTA qualification or equivalent secondary school experience. Confident working with KS3 and KS4 pupils and delivering independent sessions. Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills. Flexible, resilient, and committed to helping every pupil succeed. A proactive team player with excellent communication skills. Candidate must be fully compliant; this includes a DBS on the update system, UK Driving License and 2x references.Role Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the curriculum and school priorities.
