The Role
As a Principal D&A Consultant, you will work on customer projects to gather and consolidate our customers business requirements and data, resulting in actionable insights and information enabling BAU decision making or informing the direction that projects and activities should be carried out.
Data Analytics Consultants are responsible for the elicitation of requirements and extrapolation of data into insights and information capable of driving an efficient and effective decisioning process, ensuring business outcomes as elicited by design and requirements are met on a timely perspective and optimal quality and usability perspectives.
The role will require for a strong sense of adaptability as it may involve several areas, including, but not limited to: Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Report and Dashboard creation, Insights and What-If analysis, Rendering of 3‑D concepts, Support solution design from data knowledge, amongst others.
Job Responsibilities
Carry out research and data collection to understand the needs of client stakeholders
* Build and develop dashboards and reports enabling users to consume intelligence and insights from data.
* Perform data quality improvement on different types of datasets and employing different methodologies and programming languages.
* Analyse needs, challenges and issues faced by stakeholders and be able to manage them as a set of requirements or use cases.
Build and optimise databases and other data stores
* Create and interpret data models in different notations.
* Build query language models.
Deliver solutions that provide insights and intelligence to consumers of data and information
* Build insights models that offer consolidated information and intelligence from data.
* Implement point and enterprise solutions enabling effective management of data and information across a department or groups of users.
* Build and Implement AI and ML patterns to derive a level of automation and predictability.
* Define, implement and rollout governance models and processes to manage data and information pipelines.
Define and lead solution driven out of established sets of requirements
* Ability to define point solutions in data and digital domains driven from point requirements.
* Lead teams of other data analysis, designers and software developers into delivering solutions that meet requirements.
* Define test approaches to ensure all requirements are met.
Required Skills & Experience
* Industry Knowledge- Extensive knowledge of Envitia’s customer base with a deep understanding of the complexity and challenges they face. Deep knowledge of secure and regulated environments, particularly Defence and other Government departments.
* Technical Expertise- Ability to identify customer challenges and provide easily understandable solutions to complex problems.
* Customer Focus- Ability to work with customers, partners and Envitia personnel at all levels from CEO downwards to establish credibility and build trusted status, with a passion to understand their challenges that we can solve.
* People Skills- Ability to motivate and inspire and build deep relationships both internally and externally. Collaboration is key.
* Adaptability- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high growth results‑oriented culture.
Security Clearance Requirements
The successful candidate must hold or be required to go through an SC security clearance.
Location
The role will require travel to our Horsham offices 2 days a month and travel to customer sites when required.
