Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Teacher of Maths to join our team, responsible for teaching Maths. You will work to monitor student progress, ensure high standards in lessons, and contribute to the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching & Learning:
* Deliver engaging lessons in Maths across KS3 and KS5.
* Develop and innovate curriculum plans, schemes of work, and teaching resources.
* Use ICT to enhance learning and monitor student progress.
* Assessment & Feedback:
* Regularly assess and provide feedback to students.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies.
* Provide timely feedback to students and parents, ensuring student success.
* Support & Development:
* Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
* Work with teaching assistants to provide targeted support.
* Contribute to departmental meetings, training, and extracurricular activities.
* Safeguarding & Well-being:
* Uphold and promote the school's child protection policies.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Degree in Maths.
* Recent experience teaching Maths
* Desirable:
* Involvement in professional development related to teaching and learning.
* Experience using ICT for teaching and assessment.

* Essential:
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to innovate and engage students in the learning process.
* Commitment to student development and school ethos.
