Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Turner / Programmer to join our expanding precision engineering division in Rotherham. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Haas / Hankook Lathes, supporting both prototype and production machining for our engineered valve and pipeline product range. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, well-equipped CNC facility, using the latest Fusion 360 CAM software and Haas / Hankook multi‑axis equipment.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for programming, setting and operating Haas CNC machines (DS‑30Y, ST‑40, VTL1400)
* Use Fanuc controls
* Produce finished components to quality requirements
* Work to tight limits in a high‑precision environment
* Adhere to Health & Safety and maintain Workspace Housekeeping
Qualifications
* Proven experience programming and setting CNC lathes (multi‑axis)
* Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD models
* Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM software
* Strong knowledge of Haas/Fanuc G‑ and M‑code programming

* Confident in using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM)
* Excellent attention to detail and proactive, safety‑first approach
Hours
* Mon – Thurs: 8 am – 5 pm
* Fri: 8 am – 1 pm
