We are recruiting a Deputy Director for the East of England Learning & Improvement Networks & NHS Impact to join our East of England Regional Learning & Improvement Networks team.
You will work as part of a dynamic team to provide strategic direction, operational management, and improvement expertise to support the delivery of the Networks' objectives and embed an improvement approach regionally.
You will be expected to work on-site at least two days per week and be available to start within six weeks of receiving a conditional offer, if selected. You will lead the NHS Impact Improvement approach across the East of England, focusing on three Learning & Improvement Networks: Elective Care, Urgent and Emergency Care, and Mental Health. This includes strategic development, operational delivery, and evaluation of Network objectives, ensuring alignment with national and regional priorities. The role involves planning and delivering virtual and face-to-face activities, developing workshop content with subject matter experts, and embedding an improvement methodology, particularly regarding measurement. You should be confident with group facilitation and event management. You will manage key stakeholder relationships at Provider, System, and Regional levels and report to the National and Regional Executive Teams.

We are working in partnership with East of England Learning & Improvement Networks, part of the NHSE Clinical & Operational Excellence Programme established in September 2024.
The Networks are designed for operational and clinical leaders in Elective Care, Urgent and Emergency Care, and Mental Health, including those in primary and community care and ambulance services.
The LINs provide infrastructure that facilitates collaboration and sharing of best practices using an improvement approach. Their primary aim is to support and accelerate improvement initiatives that demonstrate tangible patient flow improvements. Key activities include online networks, face-to-face learning events, and data-driven insights using comparative data for improvement.
