Join Lancashire County Council as a Team Manager in the Short Term Support Service, Urgent Care, Acute and Prisons in Preston. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 01/10/2025, offering a salary of £44,711-£49,764 per annum.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage and support services within the Central Lancashire Short Term Support Service and Prisons, overseeing intermediate care and custodial settings. The role involves partnership working with NHS, HMPS, probation, and other stakeholders, with a focus on promoting independence and supporting community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage two front-line services and respond to urgent referrals.
2. Handle demand, performance, quality, risk, and priorities.
3. Provide direct management support to social workers and senior staff, including supervision and HR oversight.
4. Manage complaints, case work oversight, and budget approval.
5. Contribute to performance management and reporting.
6. Lead team meetings and collaborate with internal and external partners.
7. Promote a culture of independence and undertake other management tasks as directed.
Additional Information
