NEC Supervisor Via East Midlands are currently seeking a NEC Supervisor to join our Commercial team based out of our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. Who we are? Maximising value and efficiency, we oversee procurement, estimating, and quantity surveying to keep Nottinghamshire's highways projects on track. Your ideas, Your community, Your impact. What you'll do: Administer and manage NEC ECC contracts across highway and civil engineering schemes, including early warnings, compensation events and contractual communications, using systems such as CEMAR Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and contractors to support early contractor involvement and the successful delivery of complex highway and bridge projects Review and challenge contractor programmes, identifying risks, omissions and critical path issues, and supporting mitigation to protect programme, cost and quality Coordinate design, buildability and risk workshops, ensuring statutory undertaker requirements, diversions and thirdparty constraints are planned efficiently Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance, in line with legislation, Chapter 8, approved codes of practice and company standards Review and interpret construction information to ensure safe, compliant, high quality delivery to programme and budget Support effective financial management, including site reporting, cost control, change management and the administration of early warnings and compensation events Manage stakeholder and operational liaison, ensuring effective network management, prompt handling of issues and completion of site records, H&S files and as built information What we're seeking: Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience in highways or civil engineering project delivery Strong experience working under NEC contracts, particularly NEC ECC Holding, or working towards, NEC accreditation (e.g. NEC ECC) Industry recognised health and safety qualifications (e.g. NRSWA, SSSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator) Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and RAMS preparation Experience of programme management and construction delivery Familiarity with systems such as CEMAR, AutoCAD, FastDraft or equivalent Proven experience of cost control and financial management Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and document management systems Full UK driving licence What can we offer?
