This will include mentoring children who can exhibit challenging behaviour and require a consistent, trusted adult to support them.
The school are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP.
The Role: Can involve working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour and SEN requirements Following care plans, EHCPs, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents where necessary Using a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists Delivering small group and one-to-one interventions to support the teacher in students development What you will need: Experience of working with children who have complex needs A willingness to jump in and help where necessary Being a positive role model and influence The ability to support challenging behaviour, encourage independence and be patient and willing to build long lasting relationships with pupils Have a good awareness of safeguarding procedures Possess at least a Level xxuwjjq 2 Education related qualification and experience within a school setting What we offer: When you work with Qualiteach, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
