CMM Programmer/ Quality Inspector
Salary: £35-40000 + benefits
Location: Nuneaton
This is an interesting and varied responsibility to work for a business that design and manufacture low volume and prototype high precision components and assemblies for a wide range of customers, so this role affords the opportunity to work on customer projects from concept and engineering design through to production.
Duties:
o Measure & inspect complex components & assemblies using CMM and Faro Arm metrology equipment
o Programming of metrology equipment - CMM & Faro Arm
o Undertake quality audits where necessary
o Prepare inspection reports (FAIR & AS9100) for customer
o Ensure metrology equipment is maintained and calibrated
o Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve issues
o Actively seek to improve processes, productivity and 5S
Experience:
Applications are sought from experienced Metrology Technicians or CMM Inspectors / Programmers with significant knowledge of measurement, production quality control and new product introduction within low vo...
