Job Title: HR Advisor (Temp Support)
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (pro rata)
Contract: Temporary – Immediate Start – Ongoing until end of April
The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide interim support within a busy HR function based in Tamworth. This is a temporary opportunity offering valuable exposure within a fast-paced environment while the organisation awaits the arrival of a new permanent HR Business Partner.
The assignment is expected to run through to the end of April, with the potential to extend slightly depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries across the business
* Managing a range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues
* Drafting HR documentation including contracts, letters and formal correspondence
* Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems
* Supporting day-to-day HR operations and advising line managers on best practice
* Providing a thorough and structured handover to the incoming HR Business Partner
About You
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
* Confident handling ER cases independently
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting formal documentation
* Organised, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
* Available to start at short notice
CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5) is desirable but not essential.
