IT Systems Administrator
Location: London (Moorgate) – Hybrid

An international trading business is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support around 110 users in its London office. You’ll provide end-to-end IT support across desktop, infrastructure, and applications, while also playing a key role in projects, system administration, and user management. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, regulated environment where reliability, security, and clear communication are critical.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver 1st–3rd line IT support across the London office and remote users.
* Administer Active Directory, Exchange, Azure AD, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, and Mimecast.
* Configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Cisco desk phones, and printers.
* Manage service desk (Jira), including triage, incident, problem, and change management.
* Support and maintain networking (TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, Cisco ISE) and VMware environments.
* Monitor systems using Logic Monitor, escalating alerts as needed.
* Procure and manage IT hardware stock, ensuring smooth lifecycle management.
* Document IT processes, user guides, and asset records.
* Onboard new users, process leavers/movers, and manage application access.
* Liaise with global HQ and external suppliers to deliver IT services in line with standards.
* Support market data applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE).
Key Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Office 2019/2021/2024, Active Directory, and Exchange 2019.
* Experience with Azure AD, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, and Mimecast.
* Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, Cisco ISE) and VMware.
* Familiarity with MS SQL Server, Sophos, and monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor.
* Hands-on experience supporting hardware (PCs, laptops, mobiles) and peripherals.
* Exposure to market data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters, ICE) beneficial.
* MCP qualification minimum; MCSE/MCSA (or working towards) preferred.
* Degree in IT or related subject (or equivalent experience).
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
This is a broad role covering support, infrastructure, and systems administration. You’ll need excellent troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
