An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join us as a Business Services Assistant – Reception, based at Kent Police Collegein Maidstone.
This is a varied and busy role, combining front-of-house reception duties with occasional support to the Uniform Team.
You’ll be able to demonstrate experience in customer service, working as part of a team and working independently, security monitoring and Health & Safety awareness, with a professional and helpful approach.
Key responsibilities
1. Manage admittance and log visitors to Kent Police College
2. Log reported faults and requests via online systems
3. Complete administrative duties and maintain records
4. Manage stationery stock
5. Manage and maintain the security of keys and lockers
6. Coordinate diaries and bookings (meeting rooms, minibuses and reserved parking spaces)
7. Monitor CCTV
8. Create and administer access cards
Additional duties
9. Measure customers
10. Book appointments and log requests
11. Issue uniform items
12. Maintain accurate records
13. Order uniform and other items
This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their experience to a small but resilient team.
We’re looking for someone who can be flexible in their approach to working hours. The role will primarily be3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day, with occasional evening duties.
Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £25,809.00.
