Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pharmacy Support Worker to join our team within the Pharmacy Department based at Ayr Hospital.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for training and supporting Pharmacy Support Workers and other Pharmacy staff within Distribution. Key responsibilities may change in line with the needs of the service but will include, visiting wards and outside hospitals, supervising and training staff and working alongside the technical team. The role will be to lead the Pharmacy Support Workers within our Distribution area whilst maintaining skills within Dispensary and patient facing areas.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
You must have experience of working in hospital pharmacy as a pharmacy support worker, including distribution, dispensary, ward or aseptic experience. You will possess the qualification: SVQ Pharmacy Service SCQF Level 6 or equivalent.
Hours
37 hours per week.
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
