Audit Point is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our inspection services across the UK. This is a key leadership role, combining expertise in food safety, food quality, health & safety (H&S), and compliance oversight. You will manage our nationwide field team, provide technical direction on both quality and safety inspection projects, and work directly with senior client representatives in some of the UK's largest food and hospitality groups.
About the Role
Based at our HQ in Wadebridge, this permanent full-time role covers both office and field responsibilities. You will:
* Manage and support our national field inspection team
* Coordinate our office project admin teams to ensure client delivery
* Provide technical oversight of food safety, food quality, H&S, and compliance projects
* Liaise with clients at senior level, including monthly KPI review meetings
* Ensure inspections meet both internal and legislative standards, including technical compliance and product sampling regimes
* Oversee project planning and delivery, ensuring consistency of data across multi-site and multi auditor inspection projects
* Support clients with food safety and quality input based on inspection results
* Travel across the UK to meet with team members and clients (a company vehicle is provided)

* Confidence when presenting to senior stakeholders, including Audit Point directors and Senior members our client organisations
Relevant Experience

* Operations Manager within foodservice, hospitality, retail, or multi-site catering groups
Experience in auditing, inspections, environmental health, or technical services will be highly advantageous.

* Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year
