Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Wills and Probate Solicitor/Executive to join our client's dynamic team at their Sidcup office. The successful candidate will manage a busy caseload of wills, probate, and estate administration matters from initial instructions through to completion. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who thrives in a legal environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service in wills and probate law.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of wills, probate, and estate administration matters from initial instructions through to completion with minimal supervision.
* Handle all aspects of will drafting, probate applications, and estate administration.
* Advise clients on inheritance tax planning and trust formation.
* Take instructions from clients and provide appropriate advice.
* Obtain and prepare file documentation.
* Bill files and secure payments from clients and other parties.
* Maintain and update legal knowledge and skills.
Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years PQE
* Extensive experience in managing wills, probate, and estate administration matters.
* Ability to deal with technical details and present solutions to complex legal issues concisely and customer-friendly.
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Ability to present and argue a case both orally and in writing.
* High accuracy in work according to team requirements.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to prioritize workload and work on own initiative.
* Strong teamwork skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Good keyboard skills.
* Sound technical knowledge of wills, probate, and estate administration.
* Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
* Knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct.

* Excellent written and spoken English for producing documents and resolving enquiries.
