If so, we have a great opportunity as a Civils Team Leader to join our Sewer Renovations team, which provides a vital service helping to ensure we supply water and provide sewerage services.
What you'll do
As a Civils Team Leader, you will work in a team carrying out repairs on sewer assets to meet quality and customer service standards.
Your daily tasks will include working on the waste network, undertaking repairs and civil reinstatements on sewer pipes, rising mains, and manhole chambers.
You will operate in various locations, including customers' properties and gardens, highways, and farmers' fields.
You will coach, mentor, and guide operatives within your team and larger teams on a day-to-day basis.
This role involves outdoor work, facing different challenges daily, and providing essential services to our customers.
The position covers Avonmouth and surrounding areas, with the main depot based in Chippenham.
In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a monthly bonus upon completing your probation and will have access to a company vehicle.
What you'll need
A positive, can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and dedication to doing a good job are essential.
You should be well-organized, customer-focused, and a great team player.
Experience in the construction industry is beneficial, especially operating plant machinery such as excavators or dumpers.
A valid UK driving license and proven towing experience are required.
