Payroll AdministratorPayescape Ltd are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Operations Team.Payescape is a leading national provider of cloud-based Payroll, Human Resources and Time & Attendance software. Recognised for exceptional service and support to our clients across the UK, our continued success has been developed through our industry expertise and the professionalism of our people who are committed to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-orientated individual, who thrives within fast-paced environments, to join our renowned team of professionals.Duties include:Interpreting and validating client data submissionsAccurate and efficient processing of payroll dataProcessing payments via BACSelectronic payment systemsConfident handling of payroll calculations and administrative queriesAdministering Tax, National Insurance, and all relevant statutory deductionsProcessing holiday and statutory payments including sickness absence, maternity etcCalculating overtime, shift payments, salary increases and other allowancesIssuing P45s and other payroll related documentationReconciliation of payroll accounts and ensuring accuracy of recordsPreparing wages and processing expense claimsCreating and maintaining accurate employee payroll recordsDeveloping strong relationships with clientsSupporting general administration duties and assisting with ad-hoc tasks as requiredPersonnel Specification:Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experienceMinimum of 2 years administrative experienceMinimum of 2 years payroll experience and operating payroll software (desirable)GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent)Strong numerical and analytical skillsGood IT proficiencyCompetency navigating Microsoft Office suiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detailThe ability to work effectively both independently and within a teamStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to meet and exceed strict deadlinesA professional and respectful approach towards handling confidential dataPassion and enthusiasm towards exceptional customer serviceHours:Full-Time position, 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm).Interviews will take place on 8 July 2026.
