THIS APPLICATION FORM IS FOR THE SUMMER BLOCK At Silverstone, home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, we believe in opening doors for young people and helping them explore exciting future careers. Our Work Experience Programme gives students aged 14-18 the chance to go behind the scenes at one of the world’s most iconic venues and immerse themselves in the fast-paced world of motorsport, events and innovation.

AT SILVERSTONE, HOME OF THE FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX, WE BELIEVE IN OPENING DOORS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND HELPING THEM EXPLORE EXCITING FUTURE CAREERS. OUR WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME GIVES STUDENTS AGED 14-18 THE CHANCE TO GO BEHIND THE SCENES AT ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST ICONIC VENUES AND IMMERSE THEMSELVES IN THE FAST-PACED WORLD OF MOTORSPORTS, EVENTS AND INNOVATION.
Experience
Across a structured 5-day experience, students take part in business projects, shadow industry professionals, build confidence and develop skills that will last a lifetime.
Responsibilities
* Actively participate in all five days of the programme
* Collaborate within a team to deliver a live business project
* Engage in department shadowing and professional learning sessions
* Contribute ideas, research and creative solutions to real Silverstone challenges
* Prepare and deliver a final group presentation to a professional panel
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
No prior experience required – just passion and curiosity!
