This is a fantastic opportunity within HLTA jobs in Gateshead for someone confident delivering lessons and leading interventions. About the role: You’ll work across KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons, covering classes, and leading targeted interventions to support pupil progress. What your day-to-day will look like: Your role will be varied, structured, and highly rewarding. You will: Deliver lessons across KS2 during teacher PPA time Lead small group interventions in reading, writing, and maths Support pupils who need additional help to stay on track Work closely with class teachers to plan and adapt learning Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
