This is an opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to work with the largest integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in the UK, processing 330,000 barrels of crude oil daily and producing fuels, lubricants, and chemicals
The successful Maintenance Planner will develop and manage metal trade work scopes. You will work closely with the technical centre to scope, plan, and schedule metals group activities across multiple business units. You will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of maintenance and repair work.

What you'll do:
Develop and manage work scopes in SAP for annual maintenance plans, repairs, and functional failures, optimising plans to minimise downtime and maximise safety and efficiency..
Plan jobs ranging from simple tasks to complex, multi-vendor projects.
Allocate resources ensuring maintenance technicians have the necessary parts, tool sand information to complete their tasks efficiently.
Track and maintain all work orders using SAP including sourcing materials, vendors, and contract services.
Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and planning standards.
Monitor performance, costs, and drive continuous improvement.What we're looking for:
Technical work experience ideally within the oil & gas sector with craft qualification i.e. NVQ or HNC in engineering subject e.g. Pipefitter, Boilermaker, Plater / Fabricator, Sheet Metal Workers, Welder.
Knowledge of refinery equipment & operations, e.g. pipework, valves, flanges, fittings, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, furnaces, pumps, compressors.
Strong planning and SAP experience.
Confident in the use of computer programmes e.g. Word & Excel)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.This role is Inside IR35, and the rates advertised are PAYE. The role is 100% site based and candidates must be able to commute to site every day (SO45 1TX)
