Matillion ETL integrates with an extensive list of pre-built data source connectors, loads this data into the cloud data environment, and then performs the transformations necessary in order to make data consumable by analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and more. You will be an essential part of the team, building reports, dashboards and visualisations to present insights. In this role, youll work towards your Level 4 Data Analyst qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Building reports, dashboards and visualisations and presenting insights drawn from these to the product team (to help build better software products in future) Gaining a deep understanding of the data our systems collect and how it can help us understand our customers behaviours, challenges and needs. Implementing solutions using Matillion's low-code solution in combination with common data tools such as (but not limited to) SQL and Python - ideally should be a showcase for the usage of Matillion software and a source of insights to improve it (all of these we will be taught) Resolve Business as Usual incidents with existing data flows and models, and contribute towards resolution of root causes (for example handling issues caused by business processes or data sources upstream changing) Preparing data to enable data scientists and data ops engineers to deliver Machine Learning projects Extracting and transforming data into the formats needed to support model training, including validation, joining datasets, anonymisation, and preparation of testing sets. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
