Are you an organised and motivated administrator looking for a rewarding role in healthcare?
We are seeking a Team Administrator to support our Facilities Team in delivering a high-quality service across our organisation. You'll be based at Alderney Hospital, Poole, with occasional travel to St Ann's Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Provide an efficient, timely filing system – both paper and electronic, including archiving of records.
* Be involved in the induction and training of new staff members.
* Organise and prioritise routine and non‑routine workload, liaising and communicating with colleagues to maintain a team approach.
* Have input into developing, organising and implementing new office procedures and improvements to the service.
* Undertake any other duties as advised by the Admin Co‑ordinator and team managers.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong administrative skills.
* Experience in finance‑related tasks such as processing orders and invoices.
* Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
* Confident IT skills, with experience using databases and Microsoft Office.
* Experience taking and transcribing meeting minutes accurately and timely.
* Full clean driving licence and own transport – essential for independent travel between sites within the Trust.
* Full‑time role Monday to Friday; part‑time applications with a minimum of 30 hours over 4 days are acceptable. Shift times may be flexible and will be discussed at interview.
* Applicants requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are ineligible.
* Employment requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; the Trust covers the cost. Applicants with a DBS update service subscription may present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
