We are seeking an Administrative Support Officer to provide essential support to a busy unit. This role involves handling first-line enquiries from service users. The successful candidate will manage records and ensure operational and customer service excellence within the unit.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Handle internal and external enquiries professionally, adapting responses to meet the specific needs of each query.
* Schedule new and follow-up appointments within set KPIs, aligning with Manager schedules.
* Register new service users on the Database, manage bookings, and send out necessary links or book rooms.
* Follow up with service users to confirm attendance prior to appointments.
* Perform audio typing and general typing tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* NVQ 3 or at least 5 GCSEs with a minimum of a C in English and Maths or equivalent.
* Proven experience in an administrative or office environment using various IT packages (e.g., MS Office).
* Experience interacting with the general public in person or over the phone.
* Experience handling confidential or sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
Desirable:
* Previous experience within healthcare systems.
