This is your chance to join a thriving business with a strong pipeline of multimillion-pound schemes across the region.We’re seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join an established contractor and play a vital role in the commercial success of high-profile projects across sectors including education, healthcare, leisure, defence, commercial, and more.About the RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of both pre- and post-contract responsibilities, ensuring accurate cost control, robust commercial management and successful project delivery.You will:
* Manage high-value projects independently
* Oversee cost monitoring, CVRs, and monthly reporting
* Prepare Bills of Quantities and procurement packages
* Manage subcontractors—financially and contractually
* Conduct site visits, attend progress meetings and ensure commercial compliance
* Support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and project profitability
* Handle final accounts and protect the company’s commercial interests
About YouWe’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor with the drive to succeed and the confidence to lead.Ideally you will have:
* Experience working with a main contractor
* Strong background in design & build projects
* Demonstrable experience managing multimillion-pound schemes
* HNC, degree, or equivalent qualification in construction / Quantity Surveying
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (and ideally Project)
* A full, valid UK driving licence
* Experience resolving disputes and completing final accounts
