Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Salary: £24, - £28, per year
About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a passionate Payroll Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are a dynamic organisation based in Quedgeley, Gloucester, and are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and experience with SAGE 50 to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the main point of contact for employee queries and payroll-related data requests
2. Manage the email inbox and ensure timely responses
3. Support the Payroll Advisors in preparing monthly payrolls across multiple entities
4. Input accurate payroll data into the Sage 50 Cloud Payroll system
5. Process various payroll elements such as overtime, SSP, SMP, pensions, student loans, court orders, and other adjustments
6. Cross-check monthly payroll entries within the payroll team for accuracy
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
7. Previous experience working with SAGE 50
8. Strong attention to detail
9. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
10. Organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
11. Experience in a similar payroll administration role
12. Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
13. CIPP qualification or equivalent
