Overview
Imagine walking into a school where therapy isn't an add-on. It's part of everything they do. A specialist autism provision in Gateshead supporting around 85 pupils is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. The provision supports pupils aged 5-11 with complex autism profiles and communication needs.
Responsibilities
* Delivering sensory integration activities
* Supporting pupils transitioning between lessons
* Creating personalised regulation plans
* Coaching staff on practical classroom strategies
* Working directly with families to ensure consistency between school and home
Requirements
* Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
* Start: September or sooner for the right candidate

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
