A growing and privately owned manufacturing business is looking for an experienced interim finance professional to take charge of day-to-day finance operations and support the senior leadership team.
Reporting to a commercially focused Finance Director, this role requires a hands-on operator who can take ownership, steady the ship, and deliver insight. Youll be expected to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front - managing a finance team of three and ensuring a smooth handover to new Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the monthly reporting cycle -management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis
* Lead forecasting and cost centre reviews with operational and commercial stakeholders
* Manage transactional finance processes, including AP, AR, payroll, and GL oversight
* Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
* Prepare VAT and CIS returns and manage other compliance requirements
* Provide commercial insight through margin analysis and project costing
* Support year-end audit preparation and manage auditor relationships
* Deliver ad hoc reports and financial analysis for the senior leadership team
* Improve systems and reporting processes in collaboration with internal teams
* Lead and support a small finance team
