We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive who will play a key role in supporting the Business Development team and ensuring a seamless client experience. This is a dynamic position that involves direct interaction with clients and supplier, contributing to the company's continued growth.
Key responsibilities
· Collaborate with and support team members to quote and close opportunities, to onboard new clients
· Create tailored proposals and solutions based on in-depth client understanding
· Identify, pursue and secure strategic new business opportunities
· Expand new business with clients and prospects, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
· Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and partners to obtain pricing, lead times and relevant specifications
· Assist in coordinating meetings, presentations and follow-ups with clients and prospects
· Ensure that the Business Development team has the tools and information needed to win prospect deals efficiently
· Liaise with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Purchasing, and Operations to monitor client accounts
· Support the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely quotes & orders
· Respond to and manage client queries promptly
· Respond to and manage inbound enquiries from prospective clients
· Monitor deliveries and maintain a high level of client service
· Maintain CRM with accurate data and information daily
· Generate reports for senior management
· Ensure commercial success by balancing client value with profitability
· Contribute to continuous improvements in the Business Development process
· Contribute to go-to-market messaging, campaigns and sales strategies
What we're looking for
· 3+ years' experience in a Business Development role
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
· Professional, highly motivated, resilient and results-driven
· Proactive and reactive approach to internal business development
· Able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and client service skills
· Familiarity with CRM, ERP systems and Microsoft
· Confident in interpreting data and providing insights
