Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

Contract: Long Term to PermanentLong Term Futures are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming three-form entry primary school in Northfield, supporting a Year 4 class.
This role involves supporting whole-class learning while working closely with three pupils with Autism (ASD) and behavioural needs. You will help implement behaviour strategies, support emotional regulation, and promote positive engagement within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Support learning within a Year 4 classroom
Provide targeted support for pupils with ASD and behavioural needs
Implement behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Encourage positive engagement and emotional regulation
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
Experience supporting pupils with ASD and behavioural needs
Strong behaviour management skills
Calm, resilient and proactive approach
Team Teach training desirable (or willingness to train)
