Overview
Our stores are the life and soul of our business. They act as our main touch points with our ever-evolving consumer base. The Store Manager plays a key role in achieving our standards by leading with our entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring the team, and delivering great service while remaining nimble and adaptable.
Responsibilities Include:
* Partner with the store management team to build business opportunities and achieve Company standards/goals: sales and wage budgets, sales per hour (SPH), units per transaction (UPT), conversion rate, wage and expense control, shrinkage, mystery shops, store audits and profitability.
* Identify opportunities and collaborate with others to grow the business or improve performance.
* Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff with fairness and consistency.
* Ensure door-to-floor best practices, visual merchandising directives, and standards for sales floor and back room are executed; continually review for clear, consistent execution.
* Communicate regularly with the buying team to ensure stock levels are correct and demographically appropriate.
* Analyze store-level reports and create action plans to improve results.
* Communicate daily with staff on sales goals, KPIs, store results, product sales, and other information to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
* Manage manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation processes.
* Provide training and coaching for employees (daily, weekly, monthly) and ensure documentation.
* Lead weekly management meetings and participate in regional meetings.
* Make commitments and decisions with available information, even under pressure.
* Set challenging but attainable goals focused on service quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
* Coordinate action plans considering consequences and budgets; convey ideas and manage implementation and measurable results.
* Create energy and excitement around shared goals and values.
About You
* Extensive experience in connecting with consumers in a brand-retailer environment is essential.
* Previous retail operations, budgeting, planning, and sales experience.
* People management experience with the ability to resolve conflict and maintain productive relationships.
* Effective communication with the ability to cultivate belonging.
* Collaborative attitude; recognizes and celebrates contributions of others.
* Courage in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
* Ability to adapt quickly and work with pace.
* Energetic presence on the shop floor and ability to inspire trust.
