This is what you’ll actually do! As a Despatch Operative, you’ll support the day-to-day movement of finished goods through the warehouse, helping the team manage high volumes of stock and ensure customer orders are assembled and dispatched correctly. You’ll receive and handle stock, assemble orders, and load vehicles following the correct loading procedures. You’ll help maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock checks and rotation, ensuring products are stored correctly and traceability is maintained. Working as part of the despatch team, you’ll follow standard operating procedures and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. You’ll maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety, food safety, and GMP standards while supporting departmental safety and quality compliance. You’ll also play an important role in maintaining high standards across the warehouse, working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets and maximise outputs.
