Fitter (dayshift) - Inverness, UK (Permanent Role)
Our client based in Inverness has an exciting opportunity available to join their busy Team.
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain and service production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose and rectify breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Collaborate with team members to improve machinery efficiency.
* Document maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Working week is Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role within a factory/production environment.
2. Qualified to HND or City & Guilds standard or qualified by experience.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machinery.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
7. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is advantageous.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
