Join to apply for the Cover Supervisor role at Bon Mot, Inc. Avanti Fields School is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team and contribute to the success of our all-through setting.
In this varied role, you will step into lessons across both the primary and secondary phases, ensuring learning continues smoothly and pupils remain engaged in line with our school’s vision and values. You will also play an active part in wider school life, from supervising pupils at break and lunchtime to assisting with resources, exam invigilation and supporting small groups or individual learners.

Salary: Grade 5, £28,602 - £30,525 per annum pro rata. Approximately £22,874 - £24,412 per annum (0.79972 FTE).
Responsibilities
* Provide classroom cover across both primary and secondary phases, ensuring learning continues effectively when teachers are absent.
* Support pupils’ learning and behaviour, encouraging progress in line with school expectations and policies.
* Deliver set work, maintain order, register attendance, and ensure students have the correct resources and equipment.
* Undertake additional administrative or supervisory tasks when not required in class, contributing to the smooth running of the school.
* Implement school policies and procedures for climate for learning, registration, health and safety, etc.

What we are looking for
* Educated to at least Level 2 (A*-C GCSE) including in English and mathematics
* Good knowledge and skills in the use of ICT/Technology
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
* Ability to work creatively as an individual and as part of a team
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
