We are recruiting for a Full Time Assistant Inspection Engineer to bolster our ENGTEQ team in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
* Assist with Inspection Engineer responsibilities focusing on integrity management and inspection-based scopes, including preparation of Inspection Work Scopes.
* Review inspection & NDT reports and findings.
* Liaise with NDT technicians and Offshore Inspection Engineers.
* Prepare detailed inspection reports.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in an engineering related discipline or HNC/HND qualified with plant inspection training/qualification preferred.
* Knowledge of relevant national and international standards relating to oil industry equipment and processes.
* Confident communicator both orally and written.
* Good attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanding environment.
* Flexible in approach and able to work as part of a team.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and able to use bespoke databases.
* Willingness and capability to build on existing skills and develop professionally.
* Previous experience of offshore environment (Desirable).
* Knowledge of NDT Inspection techniques (Desirable).
* Report writing experience with strong attention to details.
* Ability and willingness to travel offshore if / when required.
