They are searching for an experienced, talented Senior Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on a challenging array of projects across a variety of sectors, based near the vibrant, coastal city of Plymouth.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
7. Supervising a high-performing team in the delivery of a diverse range of projects
8. Producing hydraulic models and surveys
9. Checking colleagues’ work prior to publishing
10. Analysing and interpreting data using a variety of software systems, to prepare/check/publish reports
11. Supervising preparation of plans utilising MapInfo
12. Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
13. Attending site visits and other meetings on behalf of the company
14. Managing projects and people
15. Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
16. A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science (or a similar, relevant discipline)
17. Demonstrable experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
18. Experience of wastewater modelling
19. Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages
20. Experience of liaising closely with a variety of clients and stakeholders
21. Full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
22. Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this
23. Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
24. Working knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
