We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Caretaker/Janitor on our Renfrewshire Schools account in Glencoats Primary School, 76 Blackstoun Rd, Paisley PA3 1NR
40 hours per week (Shift pattern 40 hours 8am till 5pm (inc 1-hour unpaid break) 52 weeks.

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Renfrew Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of nine schools.

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.
What you will do:
* Ensure smooth running of the school premises
* Carrying out day-to-day DIY/maintenance and minor repairs (i.e., furniture fixtures, wall repairs)
* To ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly
* Daily responsible to check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use
* Checking the premises to guard against vandalism
* Arranging chairs and tables for meetings or assemblies and clearing away afterwards
* Litter picking and general clearing of external areas
What you will bring:
* Knowledge and previous experience in practical DIY skills for minor repair
* Good Team Player
* Flexible with shift work
* Good at developing strong working relationships with on-site client and employees
* Thisrole will also support both local and businesszero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in astrategicand lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
* Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
