Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care for children in our Ofsted-regulated children's home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, and will support children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs (EBD). This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact within our service and lead a compassionate and dedicated team to deliver outstanding trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the home in accordance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
* Provide inspirational leadership to care staff in the service.
* Deliver effective safeguarding practices and further embed them within the home.
* Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, legislation, and company policies.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with your team and multi-agency professionals.
* Monitor performance, implement quality assurance measures, and prepare for Ofsted Inspections.
* Manage a budget, staffing and associated resources.
* Collaborate with external professionals and families to ensure individualised support for each child.
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
* Proven experience managing a children's residential home.
* In-depth knowledge of children's home regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted Inspection frameworks.
* Ability to work in stressful environments whilst delivering a child-first approach.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
