Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour

Reeson Education are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the M33 area of Trafford. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teachers to provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, including those with autism, speech and language delays, ADHD, and social or emotional needs. The Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour, encouraging engagement, and helping each pupil reach their full potential.
The successful Teaching Assistant will work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, adapting to the needs of each class and supporting individuals and small groups with both academic and emotional development. Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and differentiated activities.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support social and emotional development, using empathy and consistency.
* Help manage behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
* Contribute to the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
* Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and the wider support team.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school or SEND setting.
* Strong understanding of additional needs and how to support them effectively.
* Ability to work across all primary key stages with adaptability and enthusiasm.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach to supporting young learners.
* A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable).
