Oracle FusionWe are seeking an experiencedFinance Functional Leadwith deep expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud applications to spearhead an enterprise finance transformation initiative within a pioneering global institute.This is a key leadership role responsible for defining, implementing, and optimising finance processes across Oracle Fusion modules to support our organisations strategy, compliance, and operational excellence. You will partner closely with Finance leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of cutting-edge finance solutions.The organisation is dedicated to solving humanitys most challenging problems across health, food security, climate change, and AI/robotics, operating within a brand new, world-class R&D facility currently under construction in the Oxford Science Park.If you are a highly adaptable, business-oriented Oracle expert passionate about continuous improvement and value creation, this is your chance to drive innovation in an environment where excellence is achieved through collaboration and tenacity.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expenses, Procurement, and Financial Reporting).Act as the primary functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finance, translating business requirements into robust solutions within Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud.Define and maintain finance system governance, internal controls (SOX), data integrity, and security frameworks.Collaborate with integration and technical teams to ensure seamless interoperability across enterprise systems.Lead system upgrades, release management, regression testing, and change impact assessments.Develop training programs and change management materials to drive user proficiency across Finance teams.Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, IS, or related field.810+ yearsof experience in finance systems and Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, with strong functional expertise across all core Finance modules.Proven track record of leadingfull lifecycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementationsor major ERP transformation programs.Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, statutory compliance, and reporting frameworks (IFRS, GAAP, SOX).Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP configuration, workflows, role-based security, and financial reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View, FRS, BI Publisher).Familiarity with chart of accounts design, subledger accounting (SLA), and intercompany processes.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Highly Desirable:Oracle ERP Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud Implementation Specialist).Experience with integration tools like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or EPM Cloud.Agile/Scrum delivery experience.Terms of Appointment & LocationYou must be eligible to work in the UK.You must be based in, or within easy commuting distance of,Oxford.Willingness to travel as necessary.Some longer hours may be required during peak periods due to the global nature of the programme.TPBN1_UKTJ
