In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality geotechnical design and consultancy services for complex infrastructure projects across the highways, rail, and energy sectors. Join our growing organization and make a lasting impact on the built environment. - Lead the detailed design of geotechnical structures, including foundations, earthworks, and retaining walls. - Perform slope stability, settlement, and ground movement analysis using industry-standard software. - Manage project lifecycles, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. Preferred Requirements: Expertise in geotechnical, foundations, earthworks, and retaining wall design. Proficiency in conducting geotechnical analysis using PLAXIS, SLIDE, Settle 3D, and FREW. Experience in planning, specifying, and managing site investigations, as well as interpreting geotechnical data. Proven ability to supervise and develop junior and graduate engineers within the team. Ensure all technical work complies with Eurocode 7 and relevant UK standards. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology (MSc/PhD in Geotechnical Engineering preferred). Chartered status (Ceng/CGeol) or near-chartered status via ICE or the Geological Society. Extensive experience in a consultancy or specialist contractor environment.
