With a current turnover of over £200 million and ambitious plans continue their year on year growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that combines the heart of a family-run operation with the scale and ambition of a national leader. This Estimator will be working on projects in the £100k - £1million range, working part of a well supported local office team and central procurement at head office. We are looking for an Estimator who can hit the ground running and is not risk averse. Please note this role is 75% office based and 25% site based. This role is much more than number crunching as you'll play a key part in developing winning tenders, collaborating with supply chain partners, and building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate and tender submissions Evaluate enquiries, scope work, identify risks, and develop detailed pricing models Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Collaborate closely with Directors and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handovers Contribute to continuous improvement across the tendering process Provide concise financial overviews and insight for adjudication What Youll Bring Minimum 5 years experience estimating/planning bids in housing Strong pricing ability from first principles A commercial mindset and the ability to work to tight deadlines High attention to detail and confident communication skills Flexibility for occasional site visits Why Join This Employer?
